Will Wright of Morrison has two golden doodles of his own, Ralph and Luna. “Luna is more poodle than golden and is the brains of the family. She's starting to get the hang of the ‘word buttons’ to let us know that she wants food or to go outside.” Even though he describes Ralph as the “photogenic one”, Luna was my model when I visited the Woofie’s van.

Will decided to open a mobile pet-grooming, sitting, and dog-walking service because “my wife and I really struggled with finding a reliable groomer that prioritized a low stress environment for our pups. Finding pet sitters that we trusted to take care of our pups was also difficult. I've noticed a really great opportunity to elevate the pet care services in the Foothills area, including mobile grooming that creates a safe, comfortable space and hiring reliable, trustworthy pet sitters.”

I asked Will about his favorite thing about owning a mobile pet grooming service: “I love being able to introduce people to the concept of mobile grooming. It's still a fairly new service and there are a lot of people that aren't familiar with how it works. Having clients try us and then commenting that it was so convenient, less stressful on their pup and it usually only takes an hour or two! You don't even have to be home. We can pop in, do our thing and leave a pampered, clean pup to greet you when you return.”
